my bridal henna art

Usually i don't take photos of my Henna art but i have been always persuaded by friends that i must keep record of my work. For me my friends and clients' appreciating words have always works as wonder but looking at demand of time first time i haven taken photos of my bridal henna art. This place i dedicate to my all friends and henna art lover and will share all my henna art work and my experience in Henna art....leave your valuable comments .

Four months back i received phone call from my previous client asking whether still i am doing mehandi or not as all my clients knew that i had taken break from henna work because of my family duty but she was insisting that i must do bridal henna for her friend's daughter. After knowing, that my service was required during my kids' holiday i accepted this assignment. Second i could not refuse my this client with whom i had very friendly relations.

When bride came to meet me to confirm date, time and design she was very excited for her bridal henna art. The most exciting thing i found was she was very clear what she wants. She had very clear idea what kind of design she wants in all big motifs. I did tailor made design for her like usually i do for my few clients who are very clear about what they want.

It was my idea to draw girls with Shahenai and Dandiya stick because she was looking for something interesting and i was looking for something challenging to bring out my creativity. Bridal Henna has always remains my first priority because it brings out the talent and creativity i have. Henna parties usually bores me because i feel i am doing Copy paste or printing job.

She wanted bride and groom's picture on palm and it was her condition that groom must have beard as her husband was shikh and had beard......so had to accept her request.

It took me around 8 hours to finish this work. I know it was back breaking tiring but the smile and satisfaction on bride's face that was rewarding and it was like balm on my aches. Her all friends and relatives were so appreciating and encouraging nonstop i was listening praise for my work and that was working for me as energy booster.
Eventually at the beginning of this year i thought to stop doing Henna art work but persuaded by my husband and friends that i  must not do that and do not waste my talent so i decided that i will keep doing till i will find appreciating and encouraging brides........thanks all.
